How Solar Heating Works

A Sunheater™ solar swimming pool heating system will increase the temperature of your swimming pool water by up to 10° F (6° C). or more. It's lightweight, durable and easy to install. Water simply flows through the solar heater's tubes by way of your existing swimming pool pump where it is heated by the sun and then returned to your swimming pool (see accompanying illustration). The system has many installation options - on the roof of your house or another building adjacent to the swimming pool, mounted to a rack (optional mounting kit SK33 available), or placed on the ground. The SunHeater™ solar swimming pool heating system will extend your swimming season in both the spring and the fall. Systems are available for all sizes of above ground swimming pools (see ordering guides for each model below). |

AquaPro Systems heat pump swimming pool heaters are cost-effective and energy-efficient alternatives to traditional natural gas and propane heaters. As the chart above shows, a heat pump heater costs on average, per year, around one-third of what natural gas heaters cost and about one-fourth of what propane gas heaters cost.
Heat pumps are 500-600% efficient while gas heaters are approximately 80-85% efficient. You can save as much as $2000 per year using a heat pump heater. Gas prices are rising at a much higher rate than electricity prices. In addition, unlike gas heaters, very little yearly maintenance is required on a heat pump heater and installation costs are minimal.

Note ― Because the type of pool decks the Skamper-Ramp ™ can attach to may vary, we do not provide the screws or bolts to attach the enclosed D-rings to your deck. However, we suggest you use the following:
For poured stone or other solid decks, use two 1 1/4" x 14 stainless steel panhead screws mounted into two correspondingly-sized lead anchors.
For wood, metal, or other (hollow underneath) decks, use two appropriate length stainless steel threaded bolts, using 1/2" stainless steel washers below the decking material with an additional stainless steel lock washer between the bottom washer and the securing bolt.
